Time

in time you will be able to relieve yourself of the guilt and the blame for letting him leave the world, with your ungrateful soul still in it. given time, you will be able to wake up in the morning and not blame yourself because the world couldn’t keep him safe. one day, you won’t say the world isn’t good, and you won’t beg for forgiveness from the deccised or the unknown. sadly, you will not be okay. this has cut far too deep to heal, but rather it will grow over leaving the inside hollow. it doesn’t get better, you know. it doesn’t get easier, but you find a way to mold yourself into the person you are, not the person you were. uou will learn not take the blame from the misfortune and the unlucky. you won’t offer yourself to them, because it isn’t about being equal or fair to the universe, it is just situational. and some of us, are dealt a different hand.

instead, one day, you will wake up, and it wont hurt anymore.
