Problem

It all started at the Changi Airport. I was going back to Yangon for a family trip and I had promised that I will take care of the budget. Guess what happened? I could not withdraw cash at airport due to my withdrawal limits. I was very disappointed and landed in Yangon without enough cash for the trip. My parents picked me up from the airport. I had to wait for my sister to come home. It was weekday, she was working.

Meanwhile, I remembered there was a feature which allows us to transfer money from DBS to CB Bank. So, I give it a try. Woowww!!!!, just before the trip began, I got the money into my Myanmar bank account. But my sister said she will lead the trip and we settle the amount later. It was like she pay the 50% and I pay 50%. So I agreed.

At the end of the trip, when my sister was ready with the expense details and how much i needed to pay her, I took out my phone and logged into CB Bank Mobile App. It went something like this.

2. Well, I have to transfer money at any cost. So, I wrote down her account number on a tissue paper near me.

3. Although my handwriting was large enough to read, the screen where I was keying in those 12 digit numbers was too small, including the font size.

I will cover the rest of the transfer process in Part 2. For now, let’s see what we can improve here.
