1 Super Secret iPhone X Hack

Everyone is complaining about a feature of the iPhone X that could be annoying, however there is a secret to make your life so much better. I speak primarily of multi-tasking when you are on your home screen. Everyone that has a home button is super used to the home button double tap and then force closing all their apps when they are done using them. Many people only keep a few apps open at a time.

So what is one to do when you don’t have a home button and the closing gesture is now the “go home” gesture on the new phone?

Well here’s how it works on the iPhone X, this is the annoying way:

You have to swipe up on the phone, then wait a second, then you can hold the app to get the red dot to close on it. You can tap the red close thingy or you can swipe up and close from there.

People have a problem with the whole swipe and wait for multitasking to be enabled. So I found a little secret… Check it out:

You can’t actually really tell what I am doing here, but the gesture is simple. On the ever present home bar at the bottom of the phone you can just swipe left to right and it will immediately bring you into your app!

Wahoo, super simple little hack and it works faster than the double tap of the home button.
